A DIVE INTO THE FUTURE

In the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, Pininfarina took us into the future of automobile industry by unveiling its new Pininfarina Battista EV , a purely electrical luxury hyper GT . It securely took the position in history as the first complete amalgamation of a zero emission car . The company says " These numbers in a car can only be achieved with a electric motor and is not possible with tradional combusion engine "

Pininfarina is a well known Italian Automobile Company as it has designed one of the most beautiful cars for Ferrari and Pagani . The company was bought by Anand Mahindra of Mahindra group in 2015, Anand Mahidra has a vision for this company to take the company to its full capacity and create cars which leave every other car on this planet in dust . Pininfarina proved itself with the Battista.

Battista in simple term holds the power of GOD , it has taken the limits of the car to another level and if you do not believe me, the statistics says it all. This car is powered by 120 kwh lithium manganese  Rimac T-shaped battery which gives the phenomenal 1900 HP which is nearly twice the power of  a F1 car . It produces a massive 2300 Nm of torque which is thrice the torque produced by the McLaren F1

This car has 4 motors one attached to every wheel , This car is so fast that the company had to limit the torque supply to the wheels so that the driver have time to think when this rocket launches . It can do 0-60 under 2 second , 0-186 in 12 second and it can do a max speed of more than 217 mph i.e over 350 kmph but this car has potential to break the 300 mph barrier . The range of this car is about 450 km

It can send different power to each wheel depending on the driving mode and speed of the car for better handling . There are two driving modes RWD and AWD which can be switched as per drivers convenience  . The supercar is not complete with silly doors and this car does not lack them , it comes with butterfly doors which are extremely awesome  .

Battista is made with a fully carbon fiber monocoque  and carbon fiber body with aluminium supports . It comes with 21 inch pininfarina designed rims equipped with 318 mm carbon ceramic brakes which mean this car has equally capability to stop as it has to launch.

This is one of the most powerful car ever build and it took the automobile industry to another leveling indicating where the future of cars lie. Pininfarina has build a revolutionary car which is breathtakingly beautiful that is no surprise as this company was responsible for designs of Ferrari for the last half and their experience can be easily seen here .  The cost of this beauty can will be around $ 2.9 million . There is no doubt that future of cars lie into the electric and hybrid segment and Pininfarina took a first major step towards the Future .
